The New Album
Our new album, entitled "Lost Lady Found", has been out since October last year. Reviews from publications such as fRoots and Living Tradition are just starting to come in and are extremely favourable. See the reviews page. We are very confident that you will like it - it is by far our best album to date. The album is available from this website from the online shop . It is also be available from the band at gigs and the MVC chain.

Gig News
As you can see on the list of dates below, we are currently looking forward to our Spring tour dates which will see us visiting several new venues including many in Wales. This follows hot on the heels of the Taplas interview in the Dec/Jan issue. Shortly after this we will be into the festival season. We will be having by far our busiest summer yet and there may still be more to come. We are now working on bookings for an October tour.

New Line up...

For anyone who has not yet heard about our expanded line up, here are the details:

The original 3 members remain and are now joined by Imogen O'Rourke from Cardiff playing flute and vocalist Miranda Sykes from Lincolnshire who also brings double bass. Miranda is in great demand both as a live performer and for session work. After a two year stint with folk-rockers “Pressgang”, she can now also be seen touring with artists such as Steáfán Hannigan, Bill Jones and Robb Johnson and is currently working on a solo album. Imogen joined firebrand upon her return from Portugal where she was touring for 12 months. We are all rather excited by our new sound which not only has added depth and new textures but lots more balls.
